LEV and flagging them

I have been tasked into creating basically a TPM to remind us when a LEV is in need of a service. we currently don’t really have a system to remind us to book subcontractors in and keep an up to date record of when an extraction system was last serviced via maintainX. Do people know of doing this to notify us when it needs to be serviced.

I have not implemented LEV tracking in MaintainX myself, but I would separate the planning reminder from the actual service record.

One possible structure would be:

1. Create each LEV system as an asset with its unique ID, location, contractor, last service date, and latest report attached.
2. Create a recurring planning work order far enough ahead of the due date to obtain a quotation, raise any purchase order, and book the contractor.
3. Create or retain a separate service work order for the actual visit.
4. Require the completed work order to include the contractor’s report, defects found, corrective actions, and the next confirmed due date.
5. Assign the planning work order to a named person or team and confirm that their overdue and assignment notifications are enabled.

I would not choose the inspection interval from forum advice. The due date should come from the latest examination report, the equipment manufacturer, and the legal requirements that apply in your location.

Before building this for every system, I would test it with one LEV and confirm that the reminder reaches the person responsible early enough to book the subcontractor.
