Mobile Device Questions
We are going to be utilizing a mobile app for our technicians at all sites for the first time ever very soon. While I’m super-excited about this, and know that it will be a game-changer for our teams and our processes in general, I’m a little overwhelmed by the prospects of selecting, configuring, deploying and tracking mobile devices.What have you all found success with, as far as devices? Do you use ipads, tablets, phones? How do you track them? How do you protect them? Do your technicians use them or stick with the desktop app? Do you provide them or ask techs to use their own devices? How has using a mobile platform affected your groups’ efficacy, efficiency, communication, work completion, technician engagement, etc.?Sooooooo many questions! lol So what you got, Community?
