Dear all, I'm contacting you to resolve the following: In several of our O&M contracts, the client requests monthly maintenance plan compliance. The issue is that the platform doesn't provide a way to schedule future work orders (WOs) to be included in the calculation. For example: I have weekly activities, so in a 30-day month there should be 4 activities. If I complete all 4, I get 100%, and if I only complete 2, it's 50%. In Maintain X, an activity with calendar repetition, if I only complete 2 out of 4, the third and fourth aren't opened, therefore they aren't included in the calculation, resulting in 100%, when in reality, within the month, it would only be 50%. I hope someone has a similar case or can share how they handle this. Thank you, Community 

Hello, when I make a template work order with more than one location and asset in the template, the assets and locations that I assigned to that template do not show up in the created work order. If I remove them all but one location and asset, then it will work fine and show the one assigned location.

Hey I'm working on creating a Capital Budgeting for all of the assets that we have in Maintain X. What i need is a list of the equipment with the life expectancy and what the replacement costs will be. This way I know how much it will cost us each year to keep up with replacement. Is there someone that can tell me if this is a feature that is available?

I am very new to MX and I have a question about data export. We are a medical equipment and laboratory service company. One of the services we offer is traceable calibration on refrigerators & freezers for vaccine and tissue storage. We have been manually populating an Adobe form to create a traceable certificate acceptable to regulatory requirements for our customers. I have designed a simple procedure in MX to perform the work and I like tying the procedure to an asset and a WO, but would like to send that completed data to a form with our letterhead and create a single page certificate preferably a signed PDF. I am exploring Zapier and don't know if that will work for us. Just wanted to see if anyone has attempted anything similar. Thanks  Lane Smith 

i have recently taken over the department that the plasma tables operate out of and the concentricity has never been adjusted ive done research and have tried to adjust it with no sucess it seems like something is worn out or bent. its about a ¼ inch out. does anyone know anything about adjusting concentricity?

Hello,We are working to setup our MaintainX CMMS. I am curious what you all do in the following situation.  Example: we have a cooking kettle as a parent asset in a processing room location The kettle has associated valves, pumps, mixer/agitator, gearmotor, etc. which seem to make sense to be child assets of the kettle.  On the other hand, we have electrical enclosures that might have 6 VFDs, many circuit breakers, fuses, harmonic filters, PLCs, etc inside. The equipment in the enclosure powers and controls 6 different assets. If the VFD for the kettle product pump motor is in the electrical enclosure, do you all make the VFD a child asset of the parent kettle asset?, or do you make the electrical enclosure the parent asset and everything of great enough value inside the enclosure is a child asset of the electrical enclosure?Or would you have a parent electrical asset for each production room and then breaker panels, electrical enclosures and everything inside, conduits/wiring in the r

How do you reassign equipment, so the meters and all related information follow the reassignment?

We have several units around the world, and we often create work orders (WO) assigned to teams regardless of their location. However, due to the differences in time zones, the WOs sometimes switch to overdue unexpectedly.Is it possible to set a different time zone for each location on MX so that WOs can be tracked effectively?Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Has anyone set up a portal for a visitor / contractor / vendor portal to log visits?I’m setting up a work order request portal to see if I can get my contractors/visitors to use in place of a log book/guest desk check in routine.Our factory does not have a main reception desk that is ever manned, however, we need to know how many people are in the factory other than our time card workers for evacuation and safety purposes.The front door is either “Buzzed in” or if we know someone is going to arrive we go out to meet them… but we have no log in desk.We also have a policy that contractor insurance is checked for being current before work begins on their visits.I'm building a custom work order request  portal with instructions for the vendors as a work around and putting instructions for our safety and insurance policy validation in it, printing up giant QR codes on a sign that “mandates” they check in for “self service” check ins/check outs at our service entrances where contractors snea

Ensure fire extinguishers are present where required. Ensure fire escapes and stairs are free of obstructions. Ensure chemicals are disposed of according to the instructions. Ensure chemical products are sealed, clearly labeled, and stored.  Determine if first-aid kits are well-stocked.   Ensure safety signs and equipment labels are visible and in good condition. Check and clean respirators.  Check smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.  Check fire alarm system. Check condition of fire escapes.
