I am very new to MX and I have a question about data export. We are a medical equipment and laboratory service company. One of the services we offer is traceable calibration on refrigerators & freezers for vaccine and tissue storage. We have been manually populating an Adobe form to create a traceable certificate acceptable to regulatory requirements for our customers. I have designed a simple procedure in MX to perform the work and I like tying the procedure to an asset and a WO, but would like to send that completed data to a form with our letterhead and create a single page certificate preferably a signed PDF. I am exploring Zapier and don't know if that will work for us. Just wanted to see if anyone has attempted anything similar.

Thanks

You can export works orders as PDF but their customisation is very limited in terms of branding and layout, it will be however is default set by MaintainX.

If you find the completed works order that you have, click the 3 dots in the top right and export to PDF,  you can then select what fields you want including in the PDF as well as the preset formats, you can play around there to see how much information you prefer in your export.

Similarly you can use these 3 dots to email it directly to a Vendor if you already have them set up within MaintainX. This will include your custom letterhead and colour schemes if you have set them up under the customizations tab when you click on your account (bottom left)

Good morning, the way I have seen it you won’t be able to directly save from MX to a PDF, however if you were to make a meter for the field or something of that nature, you could export it as a CSV and then either populate your pdf with that or directly turn the CSV into a PDF.

You can also export the completed work order as a PDF and it will have your fields filled. However I think that may not be quite what you are looking for.
