What best practices or tools does your team use to help manage quality control that have helped reduce or eliminate quality issues??

We had a possibly catastrophic quality issue this winter. We had an inspection go bad. We ended up reinspecting 8 orders. Doesn’t sound like much to some, but that is 21 crates of 24 panels each that are 150# each. This could very easily been avoided by better technology.

Our process to eliminate these problems has come to planning better and more  frequent preventive maintenance. We are also integrating AI camera inspections to catch issues that may slip by. We will replace our printing system with a more reliable system. These will help to eliminate final inspection errors and unnecessary line downtime for correction and rework. We can track all of these through MaintainX to be sure the PM is up to date and complete.
