Has anyone determined how to best handle assigning parts to assets when a asset requires more than one of a specific part. Example - a diaphragm pumps requires qty 2 of a certain bladder, O-ring, etc. I know you can assign parts to assets but I cannot find a good way to manage qty of each part assigned to an asset.

Hi Brett, thank you for reaching out. Associating parts to assets is essential for governance, however required quantity is set within work orders.
For example, if preventive maintenance on the pump typically requires 2 bladders, then you would attribute 2 bladders to the corresponding work order template. When you create the work order, the correct quantity of those parts will be assigned to the job. This also sends a signal to your inventory that you have upcoming parts commitments, so you can restock proactively.
