I am curious if/ how other are using Mx to document work, events etc outside the Work Order system. For example if I respond to an alarm, but no work is required, how are you capturing the alarm event so that there is a history?
What I am looking for is a complete asset history, all work orders, in promptu inspections, etc.
I’ve requested a feature to add asset comments for situations such as these. One-offs that just don’t need a full work order. Small adjustments, changes to settings, etc. Right now, there isn’t really a good way to log these other than to streamline the work order process with work order templates that hide most fields. Let me know if you find something that works for you though!
