There should be an option to select user. It may depend on your level of access? If you are an administrator, you should be able to press the arrow next to the time tab. Hit the “Back” tab on the top right. This should set you back to “Select User” option. From there you can choose the user and add their time.
Hope this helps.
@James Beers I was hoping it could be done as the tech begins working on the job. As an example the job is assigned to the entire team and as someone opens the job they could begin the timer for them so if 2 techs were working at the same time and had 6 hours for the day I would show 12 total for the day.
Thank you
In settings, under features, select work orders “Set Preferences”. Under “Resource Planning” set the tab to “totally assigned to each of the assignees”. When the time is input, it should show the total hours for all techs. They may both need the time input still.
I hope this will do what you need. Let me know.

We do this - our agreement is that in the event of a breakdown that requires the labor of more than one technician, the most senior technician who was scheduled to be on duty is responsible for creating the work order. Each technician who works on the work order has to open it and log their own time spent on it. So as an example we had an instance yesterday where 2 technicians had to work on the same work order. Each logged 1 h 20 min of their own time and the work order upon closing correctly reflects 2h 40 min in total. When you add time it is important that the correct user name is selected (it defaults to your own).
we have an issue as well we are awaiting for a resolution. We need to have multiple technicians working on one work order. Whoever starts progress we can see in real time. The next technicians we can not see until the work has been completed then we can see actual hours logged. Prior to this we can’t see in real time everyone logged in.
