We use the same parts for our monthly PM work orders, and I’m looking into a way that a PO for new parts will automatically be made once a certain reorder point is reached.

I cannot find a way to set up this automation, and am wondering if anyone knows how to do something like this or if it is even possible.

Wehn going through automation, the only trigger is a meter reading, so I’m not sure if I should be looking to automate the process or if there is something within the “PO” section that is more suited for what I’m trying to achieve.

If you do a meter reading you could setup either a meter for inventory counts (i.e “Number of belts in storage”) as the meter and every week or so count the number, when the belts are low get the automation to trigger your PO. If you do it monthly although it wouldn’t look super pretty you could input the date in the meter and have an automation where every time the reading is a certain date it triggers, just input the day of the month and it’ll trigger over maybe on the 1st of the month or so.
