I’m a new user; can anyone tell me how do I see the machine history? what were the work orders that were completed and open? and what spares have been used in this asset?

@rolando.reyes welcome to using MaintainX - I hope it’s off to a smooth start!

If you’re using the web version of MaintainX, you can find the work order history for an asset by navigating to the Assets module, selecting an asset, and scrolling to the bottom of the asset page on the right (that’s where you’ll find the work order history graph and list).

On the MaintainX mobile app, if you navigate to an asset, you should see a ‘Work Orders’ tab at the top, that will show you the list view of work orders associated with that asset.

In terms of spare parts used on an asset, those are not surfaced in the work order history list. You would need to click into each work order associated with the asset to see which parts were used. Instead, I’d suggest navigating to your Parts Inventory module in MaintainX and filtering your inventory list by asset. By clicking the ‘History’ tab of any part, you can see which work orders it was used in (in reverse chronological order).

On a separate but related note, if you’re on our Enterprise account plan, we’re going to be releasing a custom reporting feature in the new year that will allow you to generate reports for things like spare parts usage by asset.

Hope this helps!

Hi Zach,

Thank you for your response.

I think once you release the custom reporting in the new year will help me see what are the usual jobs that is being done in an asset as well as what are the commonly used spares by the asset.

Any timeline as to when next year?

Kind regards,

Rolando

@rolando.reyes I have good news for you - I was wrong, and we actually released our Custom Report Builder last week! You can read about how it works here: https://help.getmaintainx.com/about-report-builder
