Hi everyone,

I would like to share with you 2 recommendations I will suggest you to follow in case you are going through some resource scarcity:

1. Make sure you are working according to priorities in MaintainX. Working by offline or online status, or oldest request is not enough. You need a proper system to prioritize your work orders and it needs to be recognized and followed by your team. Time Management 101 tell us we won't ever have the time to finish everything we want, but at least we can focus our available time over the most important stuff.

2. VMI. If you can't spare a person to handle your inventory or there isn't enough people looking after your parts, talk to your vendors and ask if they could provide you with VMI. Vendor managed inventory (VMI) management is an inventory control technique in which a vendor assumes some of the responsibility for supplying and replenishing inventory items on behalf of an organization. I would recommend it for low-value or high-volume consumables. It may take a little bit of time on your end to setup everything but it's totally worth.

If you would like to hear more suggestions or hear more about these, you may send me a line or watch an upcoming webinar where I will be discussing more techniques:
