Is there a way to limit who can see a work order? My manager is wanting to create a work order that he and one other person can only see.

Yes, this might be possible! The right setup depends on your plan type and how your account’s users and permissions are configured:
- On Premium: Full Users can be given Limited Visibility. This generally means they can only see work orders they created, are assigned to directly, or that are assigned to one of their teams. This setting applies to all of the work orders those users can access—not just this particular work order—so it’s worth considering whether it fits how everyone else uses MaintainX. - On Enterprise: custom roles and permissions provide more granular control over what different users can access. Depending on your current setup, this may also allow visibility to be restricted for users who would otherwise have broader administrative access.
Because the best approach depends on your plan, existing roles, team assignments, and how confidential the work order needs to be, I’d recommend contacting our Support team.
