There used to be a feature where you could select when to see the work order by how many days until due. The default was 365 days, but instead of clogging the view for recurring work orders, you could select to see the work order 30 days out or even 7 days from due date. Did this feature get removed or moved?

Thanks,

Ronnie

Hey @Ronnie.P ,

Are you referring to the “Due Date” filter shown below?

If so, it probably still exists and you can select it from the dropdown in the rightmost filter button. (Your dropdown button might be labeled as “Add Filter+” or “X filter(s)” depending on how many active filters are not actively shown.)

In an active filter’s dropdown, the trashcan button will not only clear the filter, but also send it into the inactive filter dropdown mentioned above. This tripped me up the first few times it happened to me. It would be nice if there was a clear selection button without setting the entire filter as inactive.

Hi Mike,

No, this was in the actual workorder itself when you could set up time for it to be shown. I have a lot that do not show up until 45 days out with no filters set etc… Not sure where this feature went, but I utilized it a lot when creating new workorders. I will have to adjust accordingly, maybe they got rid of it because of the filter kind of does the same thing.

Thanks,

Ronnie

Maybe you’re thinking of start dates. If the option to “Show Upcoming Work Orders” is disabled on the work order view, then only work orders whose start dates have passed will show up in the list. Enabling that option will make all work orders visible regardless of their start dates. When creating PMs, you might have the option to give it a start date relative to the future due dates, because it needs that logic in order to continue repeating the chain.
