Are you filling these machine run hours out yourself in the meter tab or have you got an API handling this stuff? If you have an API running you may be to add a pause in the script to prevent a trigger over the weekend.
If you setting these works orders up with a recurrence timescale in mind? If so, you can have the works order you have crated to repeat every X amount of weeks and specify a day such as Friday. I do this for all of our PPM works orders and have them appear in our calendar from the Monday, giving us until Friday to complete them
I spoke briefly with MaintainX support, and they said that there is unfortunately no way to directly do this. I will update this thread if I find a workaround in the future, but hopefully we can see day conditions added as a feature in automations.
Yes there is. When you put in the work order, mark it as recurring. It will give you options of how to have it repeat. You can click monthly by week day and choose the number of months between and which day of the month. I.E Every 2 months on the 3rd Tuesday. for something every other month on that Tuesday.. Or you can schedule it weekly and you can chose which day or several days on whichever week of the month you want. If it is a daily work order, you can click daily and click off the days you do not want.
Hope this helps.
Thank you for the advice. I am looking specifically for a way to do this with automated work orders. I understand that there are day-by-day settings for recurring work orders but that does not apply to work orders that are triggered by meters. There is only a “Between certain hours” condition for time-based conditions as I said in my original post.
