Hi, I currently have request portals set up within my factory per machine to log faults for my team to act upon, within this I have them attach images/videos along with descriptions of the current fault. From this I am activating a new works order for this fault - however, the request is only put within the description of the works order. Is there a way to actually include the request document within the works order and not just within the description. It would save a bit of headache QMS wise on my side. Thanks in advance
Would it be necessary to add every single smoke detector and horn strobe as individual assets? What about receptacles? It seems to me just having an asset named “Smoke Detectors” and “Receptacles” would work. Especially if we are only replacing one every year or two. This came up because I recently had to add (3) smoke detectors to my system.
For someone just starting out with MaintainX, what’s the best way to effectively set up and manage preventive maintenance schedules?
My employer has set us up for an ISO audit for certification. I am trying to set up reports that would show my completion records for individual machines. Does anyone have a process that would individualize assets by work order and know how to build a report showing common failure and if the work order was on time early or overdue?I really appreciate any ideas.
As a single person department, I look to MaintainX to help me manage my work, the work of contractors and volunteers, as well as making information and reporting as easy and fast as possible. With this platform being the resource available, I also need to work out how to use it to help me with capital projects. I’m curious what one person or very small departments find are effective ways to use MaintainX for projects large and small.
