I want to add a custom field to the vendors tab to note the certifications the vendor has and when they expire.e.g. Safety at height, confined space, permit to work etc.Has anyone done this before. Ideally I’d add a dropdown that allows multiple selections. This is so we can tell at a glance if the vendor is currently certified or if we need to confirm their certification before booking them to complete work. Thanks,Ben
I just upgrade from an iPhone XR to an iPhone 16Pro. I used to get all my request notifications and updates to work orders (if I was part of the assignees). It looks like all the settings in the app are set correctly, but I no longer get the request notifications. I’m sure its something simple, but I’m not seeing it. Thanks in advance!
Is there a way to create a Bill of Materials in MaintainX?
Hello all,I am new to Maintain x and I am in the process of setting my company up on the software. Im looking to set up the system in such a way that I am able to track everything as efficiently as possible. I want to set up PM for motors that we have here where Technicians take the amperage reading of 3 phase motors and put the readings in to the software. I want to use meters to be able to record and track trends for each phase. Are any of you all doing this?
In the work order tab (table view), I have our work orders set up in the order in which they are due. On the rare occasion that the work order goes “overdue” the date’s font turns red. Is there any settings to make it turn yellow (or just something other than black) like a day or two before the due date? Just so one can see at a quick glance the work orders that are getting ready to be due. Thanks in advance!
Wondering if there is a way to organize the columns on this view (move the columns around)? A screen like this is like an “overview” of active work orders and moving the column locations, while also removing some columns (filters) allows the user to reorganize the way they view work in progress. In fact, this would be a nice feature on all table view screens.
Is there a way to link a Purchase Order to a work order? For Work Orders that require one of parts, or contractor labour, it would be good to initiate a PO from the W/O and see a link between the two.
Our business has a need to issue POs in multiple currencies.Has anyone discovered a way to do this? The only way I can see to do this currently is to change the currency in settings each time I want a PO in another currency.
I may not have permissions, but I cannot find where to add an additional category to the existing list. There are no areas to select under the category tab. Within the work order it gives and option when you start typing but just goes away when the “+” is pressed. Thanks in advance!
I am trying to log tools for inventory purposes. The issue is, I don’t want to necessarily put them in as assets and would rather have a section particularly for tools. Has anyone had any luck adding new lists for subjects other than the stock items that come with the program?
Does anyone know how to export an entire vendor list?
Is there a way to add more than one requester to a work order so that several people can comment and get status updates?Choose Color
Good morning, If I remember correctly, I heard that MaintainX can be used for incident reporting. If so, who has done it, how does it work, and what are your suggestions for what to include on the report. I’m interested in this from an accident point of view as well as for security issues (unruly visitor/staff member, vandalism). I’m looking at MaintianX for this for tracking as well as getting notifications when the form is started. I’m a one person department so streamlining is key.
I’d like to condense the To-do View to simply show a singular list of work orders sorted by Due Date. Currently, the list of work orders is broken up into several categories: Assigned to Me Assigned to my teams Created by me All open work ordersEach category is sorted by due date, but I’d like to remove all of those categories and simply have one long list of work orders sorted by due date.Does that functionality exist? And if so, can anyone direct me on how to do so?
I have some assets that are interchangeable. We will use one until it is due for maintenance or rebuild then switch it out for one of the others. When I am not using the spares I would like to have a way to mark it as offline but usable if it is operational, or offline and being repaired if that is the case. Has anyone been able to do this? It would make my tracking of downtime much easier. Thanks in advance.
Good Afternoon. I am trying to create a work order via an API call and I am currently trialing with Postman. This is what I have currently (excuess the comments): { "title": "Inspection of Water Pump #1 PN:111 (Pump House), Vibration Warning Test 2", "assetId": 5054334, "assignees": [ { "id": 82364, "type": "TEAM" // dont know what this means } ], "estimatedTime": 1800, "categories": [ "Inspection", "Damage" ], "description": "Whenever irregularities in the water pump operation arise, our established procedure initiates a comprehensive inspection of the pump system in our facility. This encompasses assessing the condition of filters for timely replacement. Technicians conducting the inspection will sign off upon completion to facilitate tracking of maintenance activities.", "locationId": 1921018, "priority": "HIGH", "procedure": { "id": 1711611, "title": "Alert Triggered Water Pump Inspecti
Is there a way to export my completed work orders onto an excel format as apposed to just PDF? thanks in advance!
Hi, I currently have request portals set up within my factory per machine to log faults for my team to act upon, within this I have them attach images/videos along with descriptions of the current fault. From this I am activating a new works order for this fault - however, the request is only put within the description of the works order. Is there a way to actually include the request document within the works order and not just within the description. It would save a bit of headache QMS wise on my side. Thanks in advance
